The Doctor
Graduate of the School of Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers (SSAS) in 1993. He was commissioned as an Ensign (Dental Officer) in the Hellenic Navy in 1994 and retired in 2013 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is the owner of Dr Konstantinos Kontos Orthodontic Clinic and practices all aspects of orthodontics, with a particular interest in sleep apnea therapy, lingual orthodontics, clear aligners and micro-implants.

1994-1997 Worked as a general dentist at the Naval Hospital of Athens and Salamis, as well as in a private dental practice in Athens.
2000-2005 Orthodontic Department Supervisor at the Naval Hospital of Athens (NHA).
2005-2013 Director of the Orthodontic Department at NHA.
2006-2013 Associate Orthodontist and co-owner at the pediatric/orthodontic clinic Tooth-Care (Nea Smyrni, Athens).
2013-2020 Head of the Orthodontic Department at Tannhelsesenteret Lørenskog Clinic, Oslo, Norway.
2020-2021 Associate Orthodontist at Colosseum Tannlege Clinic, Nationaltheatret & Sandvika, Oslo, Norway.
2000-Present Head of his private orthodontic clinic in Athens.
